World record for digital attacks not breached;

Most attacks on Linux in April

London, UK - 1 May 2003, 16:30 GMT - The number of successful and verifiable digital attacks for April climbed to 19,547 coming close to the previous monthly record of 19,658 from January 2003 according to the mi2g SIPS database. The record was not breached despite a heightened level of hacktivism propelled by the war with Iraq. 69% of all overt digital attacks in April were against Linux based systems, 17% against Microsoft Windows and only 3% against Unix.
